Minimizing water waste

This is driven by the recognition that by treating and reusing backwash water from filters, it can be transformed into potable water once more. This innovative approach facilitates the optimal utilization of groundwater, achieving a 100% utilization rate.

Rethinking

Rainwater as primary source

A new suburb in Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city, is aiming to consume water in a more aware manner. 40% of the water consumption in the suburb is covered by rainwater harvesting.

Rainwater and drainage water are collected and treated at a secondary water treatment facility to meet the required quality standards for their intended use in toilet flushing and laundry.
