Water saving units RO-PLUS are also available as a standard upgrade kit for existing water treatment systems supplied by EUROWATER. The upgrades are easy to implement, and the payback period can be as low as 6 months.
The picture shows an existing reverse osmosis unit upgraded to RO-PLUS at the Danish brewery Harboe Bryggeri A/S. The upgrade lead to 88 % water recovery which correspond to 90,000 m3 water saved yearly.
Consumption of water is a hot topic in many industries. With the RO-PLUS you invest in a sustainable water treatment solution for the benefit of not only the environment but also your total cost of ownership (TCO).
Especially the energy sector is upgrading to get a chemical-free and eco-friendly water treatment solution. The picture shows a RO-PLUS followed by a membrane degassing unit for oxygen removal at a large district heating company. More than 5,400 households are now getting sustainable heating.
A properly designed water recycling process reduces the demand for fresh water as well as the demand for waste water treatment. A large European wheel manufacturer choose the RO-PLUS for high water utilization in the recycling process.
Green conversion and sustainability are creating headlines in the energy sector. With a water recovery rate up to 90 %, the RO-PLUS unit was chosen for production of make-up water for the district heating grid in Aalborg, Denmark.
The biotech company Glycom make human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). High water utilization and hygienic design was their focus areas. This was combined in a special custom-made RO-PLUS for hygienic design ensuring a low risk of microbiological growth as well as water efficiency.
