Demineralized water
Demineralized water or desalination of water is necessary when the salt concentration in the water is so high that it is unsuitable as process water. Demineralized water is used in power plants as feedwater, hospitals and laboratories in the form of process water or as cooling water in cooling towers.
Water treatment by ion exchange or membrane technology can be used for high demineralized water quality.
For further information on demineralized water, please contact your local sales and service office.
