1st of November EUROWATER is officially a part of the Grundfos family. A strong force in the ongoing effort of Grundfos to pioneer solutions that address global water challenges.

In October 2020, Eurowater was acquired by Grundfos. Grundfos pioneers solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges, and improves quality of life for people. As a global pump and water solution company, Grundfos provides expertise in energy- and water-efficient solutions and systems for a wide range of applications, including water treatment for water utilities, industries and buildings.

The management of EUROWATER

As of today, Grundfos owns 100% EUROWATER. Previously, it was privately owned by the top management in the company: Kurt Hufnagl, CEO, Torben Buhl, CEO and CEO of distributor HyXo Oy, Harry Viiala. Kurt Hufnagl and Torben Buhl continue as managing directors. 

The EUROWATER name continues

EUROWATER has subsidiary companies in 14 countries servicing the customers through 23 local offices. The EUROWATER brand will remain internationally.

In Denmark, EUROWATER is known under the name SILHORKO, which also will continue as brand name for the Danish customers.
