EUROWATER has designed and supplied a complete frame mounted plant for the New University Hospital in Aarhus (DNU), Denmark. Supplied as a turnkey solution, EUROWATER had complete responsibility for delivery, installation, instrumentation, piping, control, and documentation. The pre-installation means that all internal piping and wiring have been made in advance and that the entire solution has been quality tested, including pressure and performance tested before delivery.
The plant consists of a softening unit for continuous supply of softened water and a reverse osmosis unit for supply of demineralized water. The RO unit is an RO-PLUS unit, optimized for high water recovery and low energy consumption in order to minimize operational costs. RO-PLUS units are designed for a recovery rate up to 90% compromising neither the reliability nor the water quality.
The plant is closely monitored and communicates with the hospital's BMS (Building Management System) through multiple points measuring flow, hardness, temperature, pressure and conductivity.
