Boiler water for production of dairy products

The water treatment system supplies makeup water for steam boiler situated at a dairy in Denmark. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and responsible resource management the water treatment solution was engineered to minimize both water and energy consumption.

Ensuring high quality of water is paramount in the steam boiler process. By reducing the level of suspended solids and minerals, salts, metals, ions, and other dissolved substances in the makeup water the frequency of blowdown is reduced considerably. It therefore results in significant savings in energy and water.

The water treatment solution also includes the EUROWATER reverse osmosis unit type RO-PLUS. It features advanced water-saving technology designed to reduce water waste with more than 60%, whitout compromissing neither operation nor water quality.
