Complete water treatment unit for the production of demineralized water. The water is used for the production of cosmetic products.
The water goes through a classical treatment procedure until the needed water quality is obtained. Correct pretreatment of the inlet water to the RO unit is crucial for an ongoing and trouble-free operation. The pre-treatment protects the RO membranes against precipitation, mechanical contamination and free chlorine.
The inlet water is supplied by the local waterworks and contains among other things free chlorine. This will be removed by active carbon. A softening unit removes the scale that will otherwise clog the membranes. A filter with a density of 1 micron protects the RO unit against mechanical contamination. After the water is demineralized in the RO unit, it is disinfected in a UV unit, thereby preventing bacteriological activity.
